Star Trek - USS Pandemus Update II

Another rebuild, but already I've made significant progress over the last try. So the pod thing at the bottom of the fin is an industrial dematerializer. That breaks down wreckage or unprocessed raw material into separate component materials so they can be used in the large manufacturing bay towards the back of the ship. I figure this works similarly to the transporter only it's not saving the pattern and beaming it intact. The material is broken down and then the materializers (the large yellow things in the manufacturing bay) grow new components. The hangar deck for workbees and shuttlecraft is at the top of the cylinder behind the bridge. At the bottom of the cylinder is the large repair bay, for big repair jobs. Anyway, here's pics...

Star Trek: USS Edward Teller NX-27CLN Rebuild Update I

I saw an article that mentioned that Ken Adam had passed away and that got me thinking about this model. I always credit Ralph McQuarrie for this, because it was his concept paintings that got me thinking about how to Trek it up some, but Adam also made some sketches of the ship. I'm not entirely certain who came up with it first but in any event, they both worked on it. So here's an update after almost three years. Still under construction of course.
