Star Trek: USS Excalibur Update X
I'd say most of the modeling is finished now... moving on to the dreaded UVW unwrapping and decal work. Also someone asked me the relative sizes of the Excalibur and the Pandemus, so there's a pic of that as well...

Star Trek: USS Excalibur Update IX
Got some lights turned on in those windows. Still working on mystery stuff for behind the windows to make it look lived-in. Just a few more windows to add on the primary hull and then I'll start working on decals and the dreaded UVW maps.

Star Trek: USS Excalibur Update VIII
Got most of the windows cut in now, except for the primary hull, just the rim windows left, then I have to light them and start working on decals. I think I'll stick with the TOS boomerang emblem and lettering, depends how it looks when it's all put together. Here's pics...

Star Trek: USS Excalibur Update VII
Got some feedback regarding the front of the nacelles. So here's a variation, not much of an update but it's something...

Star Trek: USS Excalibur Update VI
Rebuilding and rebuilding etc., etc.. Decided to try and finish this one up. I used my Constitution frame and transferred most of the upgrades I had on the previous model. So I guess this would be the last gasp of the traditional Constitution class before the Enterprise refit upgrades were made standard. Now to start cutting in windows...

Star Trek - USS Pandemus Update III
Well it's been quite a while since I posted anything. So here's a little update to the Pandemus. Added some manipulator arms and did a little work on the shuttle bay and the industrial de-materializer. So this predates workbees so I made some workgnats lol.

Star Trek - USS Pandemus Update II
Another rebuild, but already I've made significant progress over the last try. So the pod thing at the bottom of the fin is an industrial dematerializer. That breaks down wreckage or unprocessed raw material into separate component materials so they can be used in the large manufacturing bay towards the back of the ship. I figure this works similarly to the transporter only it's not saving the pattern and beaming it intact. The material is broken down and then the materializers (the large yellow things in the manufacturing bay) grow new components. The hangar deck for workbees and shuttlecraft is at the top of the cylinder behind the bridge. At the bottom of the cylinder is the large repair bay, for big repair jobs. Anyway, here's pics...

Star Trek: USS Edward Teller NX-27CLN Rebuild Update I
I saw an article that mentioned that Ken Adam had passed away and that got me thinking about this model. I always credit Ralph McQuarrie for this, because it was his concept paintings that got me thinking about how to Trek it up some, but Adam also made some sketches of the ship. I'm not entirely certain who came up with it first but in any event, they both worked on it. So here's an update after almost three years. Still under construction of course.

AT-AT Transport Shuttle Update 9-13-15
Got a little work done to the front of this now. I was thinking of maybe a missle launcher or something to help fill up the area where the cockpit/crew module meets the body of the shuttle but I decided against it. I imagine that this needs every spare centimeter to power the engines so that it can pull an AT-AT around.

Star Wars: Tormentor Class Imperial Battlecruiser Update XVII
Redesigned the conning tower. I'll miss those shield generators sticking out behind the bridge but they just weren't working for me anymore. I might revisit that idea on the Inundator.

Star Trek: Bold Fury Class Corvette - Update 01-08-2015
Moving right along with texture work and decided on a drawbridge type of door for the hangar. Still a ways to go...

Star Trek: Bold Fury Class Corvette - Update 12-12-2014
Well this is actually a completely new model, the only thing carried over from the original were the phasers. Got a few things to add to the underside of the hull, hangar doors and few more lights and then I'll try texturing again...

Star Trek: Constitution Class MK-IXC Heavy Cruiser
I've never actually tried to make a relatively accurate model of the Constitution Class so I decided to take a swing at it. I used the Sinclair blueprints as a guide. I've still got a ways to go but I like the progress so far. Once I get all the components into place I'll change a few things here and there to make it more unique, hence the MK-IXC designation.

Star Wars: AT-AT Transport Shuttle
So I've been kicking around some ideas for an AT-AT transport shuttle that isn't so ridiculously sized that it won't fit in the hangar. I'm still deciding on a design but here's a few that I've played with so far...

Star Wars: Type 7B - Prowler Shuttle
Something old and something new, this is the Prowler shuttle that I had on the old site, redesigned and still a work in progress. I see this is something less grand than the Lambda shuttles, something for the lower ranking officers to use to get between ships and bases.
